Our laser guided bucket wheel and rock trenchers can trench to widths of 1.2m and depths of 2.74m, and in the right ground conditions can open kilometres of straight trench per day. This means economical trenching over both long and short distances, at production rates and costs that leave other trenching methods lagging behind.

Combined with our teams of expert pipelayers, your pipeline can be trenched, bedded, laid on grade, backfilled and tested at very competitive rates.

The extracted material is passed by conveyor and stockpiled adjacent to the trench ready for backfilling and compaction. Our very own, Girdwood designed, sand boxes follow the trencher, conditioning the best excavated material for use as bedding.
