The Work Health and SaFEty Accreditation

Girdwood Contracting prides itself on maintaining The Work Health and Safety Accreditation.

This accreditation is awarded by the federal government upon satisfying the criteria of having an effective WHS Management System and onsite implementation of the system to manage construction hazards and high-risk activities.

The continuation of this accreditation requires annual audits conducted by a Federal Safety Officer who assesses our system to ensure we are meeting the standards of the federal government.

Holding the accreditation means that Girdwood Contracting is eligible to work as the head contractor on any government funded works.
