Tatura Waters Housing Estate Pump Station

Girdwood Contracting constructed Stage 2 & 3 of Tatura Waters, a 102 lot subdivision in the township of Tatura, Victoria.

Along with the construction of the roads, drainage, water main, sewer rising main, gas, power and nbn, we completed 2 pump stations:

  • Sewerage - 11 metres deep

  • Stormwater - 5 metres deep

Sewerage Pump Station

Due to high water table and free running sands, the excavation required sheet piling and tank bracing for shoring. Dewatering with spear point pumps was used throughout the excavation process. The pumpstation was a precast unit purchased through Xylem.
