Seymour SPS01 Sewer rising main
Construction included:
Project management and preliminaries; including site establishment, mobilisation and demobilisation , setting out the works, approvals and permits.
Construction of the new DN450 rising main via both open trench and trenchless methods within the denoted allowable works corridor as shown on the drawings, from the Oak Street pump station site to the Seymour Wastewater Management Facility (WMF) (approx. 3,225 m in length) including:
Site establishment, mobilisation and demobilisation, setting out the works, approvals and permits, establishment of protection zones for trees, service proving and traffic management
Thrust restraint
Isolation valves, air valves, scour valves and associated pits, surface boxes and markers
Construction of 100m (approx.) of DN250 duplication at approx. CH 3000 including 5 gate valves along the DN250 duplication and 2 gate valves along the main DN450 pipeline as shown on the drawings
Reconfiguration of the separate SPS16 rising main, including slip-lining a new OD63 rising main through the existing Tarcombe Road rising main and appropriate all fittings and appurtenances
Minor modification to the concrete access point on the driveway at the Oak Street Pump Station
Grouting of dual existing AC mains at road crossings
Supply of equipment as necessary for the completion of the contract works
Adherence to all requirements documented within:
Conditions of planning permit by Mitchell Shire Council
Cultural Heritage Management Plan as approved by Taungurung Clans Aboriginal Corporation
Conditions of works as set out by Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority as well as those forming Works on Waterways approval
Conditions of Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act Permit by DELWP
